Currently, PET strap is replacing steel strap, as they are used for strapping stacks of paper and corrugated board and also for entire pallets with more solid loads including bricks, wood or cans. It is irrelevant whether the strap is sealed using heat welding or manual, The PET Strap is suitable for both processes.
